It provides the web console application which is based on the .NET Framework 2.0.
You interact with the tools through device explorer, menus, real-time log, and views in the UI. The basic UI looks something like below.
The windows are divided by 3 splitters. You can resize each windows.
You can change the theme when you logon.
- Menu - The main menu bar is located at top of the screen.
- Device Explorer - The window in the top left which shows all the folders, devices and sensors in a hierarchical tree view. Right-click on the node in Device Explorer, you use all functionalities of SONM.
- Real-Time Log - It displays the recent 10 problems and notifications of SONM.
- View Area - The large main window is used by the Problem view, Reporting view and so forth.

When it detects any problems, it change the node's background-color as like below.

View Graphs |
|
|
It shows you the performance (RTT or CPU usage, DISK usage and so forth) graphs. You can open multiple Graph windows simultaneously. You can view the graphs in real time.

Registered Graphs |

Use this menu to view graphs, which contain important managed items you might want to view again.

Web Users |
|
|
It supports the 'Web Users' for the ASP or the company which has many network or server managers.
In the following figure, 'john' can only manages the 'netgear1' and 'netgear2'.

Each view or page has 'Help' button. Click this button and it shows the 'Online Help' window.
